Could Tight Chest And Numbness After Consuming Cocaine Be Due To Anxiety?

I consumed some cocain last night probably just less than 1g at about 12-3am , i have a tight chest and numbness in both my arms. I have used cocaine before last time about 4 months ago and had a similar reaction but not as bad. Is this just anxiety?

Hi thanks for posting your query on health care magic.

Chest tightness and numbness in your case is not related to anxiety ,it is most probably due cocaine mediated release of adrenergic hormones in to the blood and constriction of the blood vessels leading to gangrene of extremities.

This causes reduced blood flow to the organs leading to such symptoms.cocaine ingestion can lead to reduced blood supply to heart causing "Myocardial infarction" or heart attacks.I recommend you to quit abusing cocaine.

Consult an expert neurologist for further queries.
Thank you,
Take care.
