Could Tightness And Swelling In Feet, Legs And Stomach Indicate Congestive Heart Failure?

I m a 45 year old female with 3 heart stents. I have diabetes, peripheral neuropathy, degenerative disk disease, hypothyroidism, and non-alcoholic stea to hepatitis. For the past two days my feet, legs, ankles, and stomach have been swelling. Now my hands and arms even feel tight. I know this a sign of congestive heart failure but could it be anything else?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

This could be because of many causes including heart, Liver, Kidney, hypoalbuminemia are just few more. Please consult your doctor and possibly he has to arrange few tests before arriving at any diagnosis.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Azeem Ullah, General & Family Physician
