Could Tinnitus Be Related To A Leaky Heart Valve?

Lately I ve been hearing a whooshing sound inside my left ear. It s almost like a heartbeat type of sound. A few years ago I was told I have a leaky heart valve. Any chance the two are related? After some research online I m starting to believe the noise is pulsatile tinnitus... but is it caused by my leaking heart valve?

Hi...the pulsatile tinnitus you got is not because of leaky valves...the causes for pulsatile tinnitus could be due any eustachian tube ( connect ear with back of nose) defects, blood vessel anomalies in and around ear, middle ear muscle problems...consult your ENT doctorfor further evaluation....get well soon....
