Could Touching Penis After Fingering Vagina Cause HIV Infection?

Last night I fingered the vagina of an unknown woman and thus got her vaginal fluid on my finger. Some time later I went to urinate and touched my penis with same finger (although dry by then). Is there a chance that I may get HIV infection. Please answer I am extremely worried.

Hello,
thanks for the using Health Care Magic

It is less likely that you could get HIV through touching of your penis with dry vaginal fluid on your fingers even if the lady in question was HIV infected.

Transmission requires that there should be a fresh wound through which contamination could occur. Moreover, the HIV virus unlike the hepatitis virus does not resist unfavorable conditions. HIV infection is less likely but other infections like hepatitis B could be possible.

Hope this helps you. If you have further query, i will be glad to help.
Best regards
Dr Achuo
