Could Use Of Local Anesthesia Harm Fetus In Pregnancy?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...hi I just found out I am 4 weeks and one day pregnant and freaking out since I had mohs surgery 3 days ago and am concerned about the local anesthesia. Cane you ease that concern?

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. The local anaesthetic agents have no adverse action on the fetus. This is so because there is very little absorption of the drug in the blood which can affect the fetus.
