Could Using A Humidifier Ease Redness And Tiredness In Eyes?

My eyes are always red and sometimes feel very tired. I use Visine throughout the day which seems to make it worse. I work as a substitute teacher so I m often in a lot of different classrooms. Today I was in a classroom where the teacher had a humidifier going. I was really surprised when I looked in the mirror at the end of the day to see that my eyes weren t red and feeling tired as they normally are. Could the humidifier have anything to do with this?
