Could Wearing Inflated Boot Cause Pain In The Side Of Groin?

I am having pain on the right side of my groin area. I ve had melanoma skin cancer on my right leg, but that was several years ago. 2004/2005. I haven t had any skin cancer since, but this groin pain is different than I ve ever experienced before. I know from my follow up appointments and my yearly visits they check the groin areas. I am currently wearing a inflated boot on my left foot due to foot injury. Could that be causing muscle pain in that area because of my limping?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Possible through limping but should be rule out by imaging studies sonography or MRI can tell that it is dangerous or not plus any infection should be ruled out by general physical examination!

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
