Could White Discharge With Mildly Itchy, Swollen Clitoris Be Due To Yeast Or Bacterial Infection?

I have currently just got back with my partner, and never had any sex during the time of my break up. I have noticed in the last couple of days that i am getting some white discharge , but as im at the toilet and whipe its a bit yellow very light, been getting a pain at my clitoris also which is making it feel like it itchy but its not necassary itchy its just uncomfartable, my clitoris seems to be a tad swollen also. I have previous symptoms of getting infections due to being to clean or when my full amune system goes down. By reading online its scaring me as it says sti, and i would like to think i do not have that and its just a wee yeast infection or bacteria infection. Thank you for your help.

Hello, from the history you have given, it looks like an infection...white discharge can occur due to many infections like candida, bacterial vaginosis....i would suggest you to consult your gynaecologist, as you may require a per speculum and per vaginal examination and may be a swab culture before coming to a conclusion whether it fungal or bacterial or sti.......you should also keep your perineal area clean and take lots of fluids.....hope i was helpful to you. .....
