Hi Dr. Andrew Rynne: I m taking Divalprex / Depacote and lately I have seen what looks like I m not digesting the med, what I find in my stoll is the pill or gohst shell, but, it is white inside, and spongey not hard. Dr. told me take a probiotic and ask pharmacist, pharmacist said it was normal.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Divaloprex and Depakote are not known to cause any side effects on stools such white particles. You may need to do a stool sample first to check for parasites.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
