Could Worsening Pain From Knee To Ankle Two Weeks After Twisting My Leg Indicate Something More Than A Meniscus Tear?

I twisted my leg/knee two weeks ago and assuming I tore my meniscus. Basic pain considering I m a landscaper and on my feet moving constantly. Today was a much more painful day. Had shooting sharp/stabbing pains from knee to ankle. I am now in full knee to ankle pain. Could this be something other than a tear?
