Could Yeast Smell From Nose And Stuffy Nose Be Due To Infection?

i had a tooth extrated 10 days ago and now it seams to be healing ok, but i have this strange yeasty smell from my nose, and my left nosteral is stuffy (the same side as i had my tooth extracted) do you think this could be a infection in the nose? or am i over reacting?

Thanks for using health care magic.

Read your query.

The tooth socket is probably not clean and food debris is been settling there which in turn may be the cause for the smell.

I advice you to keep it clean (but dont probe deep inside the healing socket).

Use saline gargles or a mouth wash.

If you feel any pain ,then consult your dentist.

Stuffiness of the nose may be because you are developing a cold, take appropriate medicine for that.

hope this was beneficial.

Thanks and regards.
