Could Yellow Foul Smelling Vaginal Discharge After Taking I-pill Be Symptom Of Std?
I and my husband had sex on 22nd dec and i took a ipill on next morning ...since den till today is 27dec and iam suffering from vaginal discharge.. It is not heavy rather less ..creamish and yellowish.. (also show yellow stains on ddried cloth) .. There is no pain or swelling .. But sometimes sudden unpleasant smell those of last pd days .. The discharge is nt continous but happens daily though little.. Lesser than frst day of taking pill...am i suffering from std? Im wrried pls help..

The discharge could be due to the pill, as usually there is some amount of withdrawal bleed following the intake of the emergency pill. STD does not present in this way; usually there is an associated pain, irritation, fever or eruption and local lymph node enlargement. Also, it is not associated with intake of pills. If you wish for a proper diagnosis, please consult a gynecologist for a local exam and help. Your next period also may get delayed by a week or two due to the pill and if you do not see a period even after this period, please do get specialist help for further management. Take care.

It should be bacterial vaginosis.Fishy smell is characteristic. Antibiotic treatment is necessary.Usually metronidazole or tinidazole tab or suppository should be given for that.consult your doctor for that.hope this may help you.
