Hello,
Welcome to Healthcare magic forum .
Change in voice quality and persistent hoarseness are often the first warning signs of vocal cord lesion. Vocal cords or voice box or larynx is a organ located inside our throat which can be affected by many conditions causing its swelling or a lesion on it resulting in voice change.
The cause can be varied right from minor colds or upper respiratory infections, excessive voice misuse, gastroesophageal reflux disease to serious conditions like laryngitis, thyroid disorder, vocal cord nodules, polyps and malignancy etc.
Considering your symptoms since last one month and your tests reports it could possibly be due to an underlying
gastroesophageal acid reflux which can cause hoarseness of voice, frequent burping, swallowing problems, a foreign body sensation, frequent throat clearing and sore throat etc. However it can be any of the above mentioned conditions though less likely. To rule out any serious problem and confirm the diagnosis it is advisable to consult an ear nose throat surgeon who is a specialist in such problems of voice .The doctor after thorough examination of your vocal cords and larynx can diagnose the problem and start apropriate management.please do not panic as mild hoarseness can be treated easily with voice rest and supportive therapy. But at the same time do not delay the consultation to be on the safer side.
Meanwhile you can try the following tips for better relief,
Avoid agents that dehydrate the body, such as alcohol and caffeine.
Avoid secondhand smoke .
Drink plenty of water.
Humidify your home.
Watch your diet–avoid spicy foods.
Try not to use your voice too long or too loudly.
Avoid speaking or singing when your voice is injured or hoarse.
You may take antacids if you suffer from gastroesophageal acid reflux.

Hope this information is useful to you.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Regards
