Cut On The Inside Of Lip. Will It Heal On Its Own?
My son fell and bit his lip it s a pretty good cut but it s on the inside of his upper lip , this is the second time he s done this. It s already swollen, but it s stopped bleeding , his teeth aren t loose or chipped. I moved them and he said they didn t hurt, the last time he bit his lip we took him in and they strapped him down and it took 5 of us to hold him down while the Dr put stitches in, he screamed and cried and it broke my heart . Is it true that cuts in the mouth heal just fine on it s own? is it bad that I don t want to put him thru that again?

Yes, it is right that the cuts in the inner mucousa of the mouth do heal faster and fine.Good diet with ample amount of multivitamins will help in healing.
Very rarely a minor scar in the form of puckering or a line can be formed at the injury site otherwise there would be no complications.
