Cut Under Urethra Opening. Suggestions?

My boyfriend is away in the military, so we have not been having intercourse. Some how he has a cut on the tip of his head underneath the uretha opening and it was bleeding a great deal. He has no clue what caused it or when it happened. Last night he said he kept having erections in his sleep causing the cut to open back up and a stinging pain to wake him up. What could have caused this, what should he do, and how can he prevent it in the future?

Hello
Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your boy friend has bleeding from the tip of the urethra while having erection during sleep.
Most likely this could be due to injury or rearing of frenulum .
Ask him to clean and dress it properly. and to take antibiotics nad anti inflammatory medicines and apply topical antibiotic ointment for a week
Do not worry it will get cured within a weekIt.
