OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,
According to your symptoms and the clinical picture it appears that you have polycystic ovaries and as such, use of Metformin is ideal for ovulation defect to correct. It is true that this medication can cause nausea and headaches, please try to consume the medication with food and also in divided and low escalating doses. If you still cannot tolerate the medication, please report to your doctor for a change of prescription. Your chances of pregnancy are none since you had withdrawal bleeding after Duphaston. If you still wish to exclude/confirm pregnancy, please get the blood pregnancy test. Hope your query has been answered. Take care.
