Dalmatian Dog, Ingested Calamine Lotion Accidently. Prescribed Milk To Slow Absorption. Cure?

I accidentally gave my dog a 5 cm of calamine lotion instead of another medication . will this hurt him, I tried to call my vet but he wasn t available. My pharmacist asked me to give him some milk to slow down the absorption and then give him some salted water. please help me understand what can happen to him, he is a 35 kg dalmatian,
