Hi,
Welcome and thanks for posting oyur query ot HCM.
I can understand your great concern regarding your hair loss and dandruff. In your query you have not mentioned about your age and bit about your life style and profession. In terms of dandruff and hair fall please do not correlate each other as are two different entities, your hair fall is not caused by dandruff. So what the problem is- dandruff is simple flakning of skin over scalp which is present in everyone. Now it depends from person to person to get flaking higher or lower which depends on many a factor. For hair fall again there are many a reasons but the most important is hormonal which we day as pattern hair loss- whether in male or female. It is also depending upon life style, your dietary habit, your daily routine , substance abuse, any illness and so many of factors. Minoxidil do help in hair fall but not for dandruff. It has to be applied in medical supervision other wise can cause side effects. For dandruff apply a good shampoo daily and clean the hair regulary to avoid deposition of flakes. Kindly consult a dermatologist who can guide you further for best of results in both the situations.
Hope it helps.
