Dark Reddish Tender Line With Swelling Near The Anus. Suffer From External Hemorrhoids. What Is It?
Hello, I recently discovered a dark reddish/purple line running from my anus to about 3 inches upward. I am a 17 year old female that already is dealing with external hemorrhoids . The line is tender to the touch and I cannot walk, sit, or lie down without feeling uncomfortable. It is swollen and almost feels as it is is protruding from under my skin. Do you have any idea what this could be?

Thanks for writing here.
It seems you are having perianal dermatitis.
Leaking of blood and other fluid leads to irritation of perianal skin.
Use loose cotton clothes.Use sitz bath.
Start applying a steroid antibiotic combination like fucidic acid and hydrocortisone.
Fucidin h is one such brand readily available on counters.
It will be better if you go for surgical resection of your Haemorrhoids.
