Delayed Period. How Long Should I Wait To Know Whether I Am Pregnant Or Not?

I don't know whether I'm pregnant or not; my period was scheduled to come on Monday, and it is now Wednesday - it hasn't come yet. I am usually synced with my best friend, and she hasn't received hers yet either. I have an abortion pill in front of me. How long should I wait before being certain that I am actually pregnant, while still having time to abort should I need to?

Please confirm your pregnancy before aborting.
Take a pregnancy test within a couple of days.
If positive, consult a gynecologist who will confirm exact weeks of pregnancy and will prescribe pills if found possible.
Also, a follow up with a gynecologist to confirm completion of abortion is a must.
Do not self medicate yourself with abortion pills as it can lead to infection, severe and uncontrolled bleeding and incomplete abortion.
