Delayed Periods. Should I Wait To Know If I Am Pregnant Before Taking Primolut?

Hi, I usually get my period every 28 days. My boyfriend and I have had unprotected sex. My parents don't know. My last period was on 04/11/13 and it's now 03/12/13 and I haven't even started spotting, but I've had a kind of heavy feeling in my stomach feeling like I'm going to get my period but I just haven't yet. Am I pregnant? I'm going overseas in a month and I was going to take primolut n while I'm overseas, I was going to trial it this period but because it's delayed and you're meant to start the tablets 3 days before your period, I'm not wire whether I'm pregnant or just late this month? And I know you are not meant to take it when you're pregnant, but I'm not sure if I am or not, so do I take the tablets before I bleed? Or wait until I know?

Thanks for writing to us.
If your periods are delayed, then you need to do a urine test first to rule out pregnancy as a cause of delay of the periods. If the test comes negative then you can take Primolut for withdrawal bleeding.
