Delayed Periods Cycle, Milky White Blood Tinged Discharge. Negative Pregnancy Test. Causes?

My period is 3 days late, i have taken a hpt the day period was due it was negative. I have had milky white discharge since the 19th, yesterday when using the restroom i noticed a glob of milky white discharge in the toilet that was blood tinged. Nothing on the toilet paper though. Any insight would be great thank you.

The most common cause of white discharge is pelvic inflammatory disease which is usually fungal in nature .Clotrimoxazole ointments and vaginal washes are available over the counter and can be used locally safely.Weekly, once a day dose of flucanozole can also be used .However it is advised to get a pelvic examination and Pap smear done .Urine pregnancy test are ideally done 40 days after the last menstrual cycle .
