Delayed Periods, Spotting, Pregnancy Test Negative. Cause?

Good afternoon,

i have a question ok last month my LMP was 8-17-2013 and it lasted six long days when it nornally stops after 4 days. Well two days before my period was to start I had this feeling in my body like my period was going to start for two days but nithing happen. i spotted pinkish dots on 9/8/13 the day before my period was due. i am now two days late and feeling like my period is going to start. but when i went to the bathroom and went to the restroom i noticed blood but only while wiping. as a matter of fact i only see it after using the bathroom and no other time. whats wrong I took a pregenacy test this morning and it said neg my dr said to check back in two weeks?

Hi,
It seems that you may get your period within few days.
You gone for the test too early.
If you did not get period then go for test after 7-8 days passed of your expected date of period.
Ok and take care.
