Depression, Anxiety, Insomnia, Panic Attacks After Stopping All Medications Due To Pregnancy. Can Stilnox Per Night Be Taken?

Yes please. My daughter is 24 years old, suffers from depression, anxiety and insomnia. She became pregnat and is 8 weeks now, The dcotr stopped all medication without a gradual decline. She get severe panic attach and have limited asnd short intervals of sleep. She is very tired and we fear this may have a bad effect on the fetus. Would it be safe to let her continue with one Stilnox per night to get a proper rest and then gradually take less?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Stopping all the medicines suddenly will cause a rebound increase in the symptoms like your daughter is having. It is best to avoid taking Stilnox now that the pregnancy is confirmed. She can do some relaxation exercises to help.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
