Diabetic. Why Is There Reduced Mobility, Swollen Legs And Low Oxygen Levels?

hi, worried about my mother inlaw, she is diabetic, is in hospital at the moment. Reduced mobility, requiring hoist, normally has very swollen legs, ankles, has low oxygen levels at moment, distorted voice, as in slurred, this has been like this a while now, and is not eating much. tests have all come back normal so far

Hello,

Your mother in law is an elderly diabetic.
Reduced mobility, swelling of the legs may be due to arthritis of the joints due to age.
In the context of diabetes this may be caused due to the involvement of heart and kidney.
