Diabetic, Diagnosed With Low Iron Levels, Started Taking Iron Supplements. Will This Affect Blood Glucose Levels?

Hi, I just found out that my iron levels are extremely low. So I ve started on iron suppliments as recommended by my GP. What I wanted to know is, will this effect my blood glucose levels, since more iron will improve my blood hemoglobin? I am male, 39 years young, with type 1 diabetes , history of heart disease / heart attack / stent . I weight a healthy 70 kgs. Thank you.
