Diabetic Feeling Heavy Tongue. Reason?

i am a muslime, once in a while during the day while offering my prayers, i recite quitely religious rituals, then suddenly i feel . that during this process of reciting my tounge is becoming heavy, i am diabetic, very close to 53---a graduate, studied microbiology, zoology, chemistry, sales manager by profession, as a travel agent, problem seems to be physical or chemical, but certainly not mental---kindly advice

Your are a Diabetic. You are in your early fifties.
You have heaviness of your tongue.
Monitor you blood glucose regularly.
Have a good control of your blood sugar.
It may be due to any oral or dental related problems.
It may be glossitis due to vitamin deficiency.
You may require a neurological evaluation.
Consult a neurologist.
