Diabetic, Had Horrendous Belching, Rumbling Stomach, Chills, Stabing Pains, Fatty Liver. What Can Be Done?

Hi, my problem started 12 days ago. I had horrendous belching and a rumbling stomach, chills, stabbing pains in what I think is my liver - I don't have the stabbing pains all the time . I do have a fatty liver. I take lisinopril for high blood pressure and I was taking simvastatin for 15 weeks but the doctor took me off them 4 days ago due to my symptoms. I have absolutely no appetite and so have lost lots of weight . I'm taking omeprazole. I wake up in the morning retching although I think I'm constipated but this could be due to the lack of food. I am diabetic but I contolt this with my diet . Hope you can help

Hello, Thanks for the query to H. C .M.C.
You haven't mentioned age, weight, size of abdominal girth etc
Since you are a patient of hypertension, cholestrolaemia ( hyper) because you are taking anti hypertensive with lipid lowering drugs.
Once again pl get your blood examination for lipid profile, sugar , urea, serum creatinine etc as these parameters will decide future plan of action.
Presumed that all these are normal. If abnormal take tt accordingly.
If normal than all these problems are due to hyper acidity and anxiety, i.e. gastritis.
Belching, bloating, sour mouth, uneasiness ( restlessness) all are interlinked so please be sure, there is no anxiety and gastritis, if have than consult a doctor and take a tt.
Regular check up for diabetes must be in your case as you are a border line case.
Good luck. Dr. HET
