Diabetic, Have Abnormal Ghb, Balanitis, Redness And Itching In Foreskin Of Penis. Advised Candid. Is The Treatment Correct?
Hi I am a diabetic for over 10 years (am 40) post a viral pancrtetis about 22 yrs ago. My ghb is currently 8 or sometimes 7.5. My present complaint is ballinitis.. Redness and itching on the penis and unable to retract my foreskin.. I have been advised candid ( clotromazole) cream twice a day, tab O2 twice a day and tab flucon once a week.. It's been about 6 days and still hurts.. Pls help..if this is the correct line of treatment in mumbai and how long will it take..

Hi Balanitis can be caused by bacteria or fungal orgin and even both at same time.You are covered by antibiotics for all those infections.So its a proper treatment.you can use warm water for washing the area.Hope this may helpyou. thanks
