General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

The seizure was seen due to the hypoglycaemic event that you suffered. The pain experienced is due to the damage that has occurred due to the injury of your tongue.

It is best you consult a doctor for the same, preferably a surgeon. This condition will most probably heal on its own. But, in the meantime, gargling with a disinfectant solution or even lukewarm salty water will help prevent any possible infections of the wound.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.
