Diagnosed PCOS, Diabetes. Tingling Pain In Kidney Area, Stopped Birth Control, Put On Weight. Diagnosis?

i was diagnosed with PCOS in June then referred to an endocrinologist who then diagnosed me with type 2 diabetes. for the last several months form maybe February i have, after doing my daily activities, had this uncomfortable tingling and pain on my right mid back around my kidney area i am 28 years old 5foot 8 inches and 273 lbs ( i know huge!) that's why i went in to the Dr to start with in June. i stopped taking my birth control in February at that time i weighed 228 lbs and by June i was at 270 when i was eating better and exorcizing a lot of weight in a short time i had brought up the tingling to both my primary and endocrinologist ( i do not agree with his practices and am looking for a new one) and they did not know nor do anything for the tingling.

Hello
PCOD due to obesity and Diabetes generally has a good prognosis for fertility. It should be fine with target of 3 kg weightloss per month, Tab Bigomet SR 500 mg 1500 to 2500 per day . May be the birth control pills were adding to your weight.
The issue of tingling in renal area is a bit nonspecific. Single symptom generally is defficult to find a cause. Generally they have a psychological origion. it you become irritable easily, sleep poorly, have poor concentration, palpitation, aches and pains , then I would assume you have anxiety as well. It is a common with these 2 conditions so don't worry. Just get tour thyroid functions test as well

HI,
Your current problem is- PCOS,Type 2 diabetes,Tingling & pain in mid back,Weight gain.
* PCOS & Diabetes are the conditions which go hand in hand many a times.Weight gain being the common symptom & in the management of both loosing weight-is complimentary.
So apart from the drugs prescribed, you need to strive hard to reduce.
Visit a nutrition & get exact calories prescribed in 24 hrs. Try to stick to the diet regeme.Get maximum prescribed calories in form of proteins/salads/boiled vegs/nonsweet fruits.Take creameless milk without suger. Restrct carbohydrates, fried,&refined things.
Do join a health club & do weight reducing exersises under instructors supervision.A walk for 45 minutes is welcome
Include these things in your routine one by one.
*The tingling/pain in mid back may simply be due to stress to back muscles or
compression on nerves. Vit. B12 will help along with calcium.
Infection in UTI or kidney stones may also present this way.
you will need a pathological, radiological investigation for ruling it out. Please consult your physician for better assessment & advice.
Though a long way to go-self determination &sincere & persistant efforts will give desired results.
Thank you.
