Diagnosed With Candidiasis, Had Headache, Nausea, Diarrhea And Tender Stomach. Prescribed Nystatin And Diflucan. Taking Zantac And Imodium

I was diagnosed with candidas or thrush about two weeks ago , have not felt well for three weeks now, headache,nausea,heartburn,diarrhea,fatigue,bodyaches my stomache is tender and rumbling all the time. Doctor has prescribed Nystatin and Diflucan (4-150mg ) I am also taking zantac and imodium. I have really been watching what I eat . I am scared of taking this medicine after reading the side effects. My throat is still tender all red and white. Should I go to a specialist in this field? ?

better to go to specialist as thre can be other diagnosis depending on your history
you might be dealing with food allergies which can have all symptomps written by you and thi can also be cause of candida infection
any thing can react at any age at any stage
might be drugs foods etc
get blood serum test for specific antibodies fr milk wheat potato chana and major food you take
withraw and see
till then can ue sympatomatic treatments for various symptomps

The tender stomach can be due to gastric acidity caused due to intake of heavy dose of antibiotics.

I would advice you to administer anti gastric tablets half an hour before food.

Take a routine balanced diet.

If necessary,you can consult an oral pathologist to get the biopsy investigation.

Meanwhile,maintain oral hygiene well.
