Hi, I am 37 years old diagnosed with PCO and suffering from irregular periods.
I had my last period on 1st july, 2013 and no period since then either in August or September.
Please advise if I can take Modus-10 to induce periods and the dosage recquired for how many days.
Alternatively if any other more effective medicine available for my condition, kindly advice the dosage.

Hi,
If you did not see a period for the past two months it is advisable to see a specialist first for an evaluation before proceeding to take withdrawal medication. Modus can be used to induce withdrawal bleeding and the dosage and duration of treatment depends on the physical evaluation. If the purpose is only to induce a period, there are many brands of progestogens available. Maintenance of a healthy body weight and a healthy diet along with regular exercise helps a long way in correction of the hormonal imbalance of PCOD. Hope this helps.
