Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
The weight gain in your case is due to PCOS and according to your height ideal weight is 53 kg.
Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome is the main cause of weight gain in young female .This is usually due to glucose intolerance .
As you stated that you are taking cyproterone acetate( diane 35 mg) +NEODIPAR+ ALDACTONE .
As you mentioned that there is pain in head due to aldactone , you are right .
Due to diuresis there develops headache , but this is necessary drug .
Neodipar causes nausea , get proton pump inhibitors along this drug.
Here I suggest you , consult another Gynecologist and get his opinion regarding treatment .
In such type of condition I prescribe my patient metformine 1 gm in divided dosage.
So consultation to another gynecologist will help as weight reduction is not essential , rather treatment of pcos is important as it will spontaneously reduce , once treated.
Good luck. Dr. HET
