Hello,
PCOS (or polycystic ovarian disorder) is an endocrine disorder present in about five to 10 percent of women. It can cause abnormal periods and can also be associated with acne and extra hair growth.
Unwanted hair growth over lips, chin, cheeks, chest, abdomen, arms and legs, medically termed as ‘Hirsutism’ is a very common feature of Poly cystic Ovarian Disease
These extra hair are because of more production of male hormones.
There is nothing to be tensed and worried about it as there are treatments available by which these extra hair can be taken care of.These treatment consists of electrolysis, depilatory creams, laser removal and medications like oral contraceptives and spironolactone.
Consult your doctor for treatment of these hair growths.
Keep taking METFORMIN
Do regular aerobic exercises and shed your weight.
It is said that a mere reduction of 10% of weight results in normalisation of periods.
Thanks
