Diagnosed With PTSD, Bi Polar, GAD, Panic Attacks, Anxiety, Insomnia. Taken Xanax. What Does It Mean?

Hi my name is Kelly. I don't know if you can help me with this but I would rather be safe than sorry.I have been diagnosed with PTSD, GAD, Bi polar, Panic attacks severe, anxiety attacks and insomnia.My question is I have been reading a lot about on line doctors that can prescribe medicines. Doctors where I live rarely prescribe this benzo anymore and I am having a hard time getting it from my doctor. I am on a mood stabilizer and paxil, but I still feel symptoms and Xanax is the only thing that seems to work in with the meds. I even asked my doctor for something else like valume but I have never taken this drug before and she wont prescribe me this as well. So I wanted to know online doctors exist and can prescribe these meds legally. I feel very stupid asking this kind of question and I don't abuse any of the meds prescribed but Im at a loss. I just wanted to know of this is legal or not.

Hello, thanks for asking. Giving prescription on line is not legal. The reason that your doctors do not prescribe any medication from benzo is that it is not a good way to control your anxiety. With regard to the complexity of your situation, talk sessions held by a psychotherapist can help to diagnose the roots and also manage your anxiety. Best wishes.

I have gone through your available history.

It is not possible to prescribe the medication by online doctors as dose adjustment and selection of drug should be done only after through examination of the patients.

Alprazolam is good anti anxiety agent but it has high abuse liability.

You may do stress management and relaxation exercise for better control over anxiety.
