Diagnosed With Alopecia Areata. Had Steroid Treatments, Injections. Had Only Two Spots. On Biotin, Vitamin E. Time For Hair Growth?

I have just been diagnosed with alopecia areata. I am a 30 year old woman and I have never had a problem like this beforw and it has been pretty devastating. I know it could be worse and there is no way to predict how it will progress. Is there anything I could be doing to help with hair regrowth. I have had steroid treatments once about 2 weeks ago. I first noticed the first bald spot two months ago. And a much smaller one on the back of my head two weeks ago the day I got the steroid injections. Is it a good sign that I onlyhave found two spots in two months? When should I start to see new hair growth? Itake biotin and vitamin E and sometimes put the vitamin E oil directly on the bald spots. Could these things help? What else can I do to help the treatment process?
