Diagnosed With Diabetics, Kidney Stage 3, High BP. Prescribed Carvedilol, Diovan. Right Medication?

I just read that it's dangerous to combine Carvedilol and Diovan which is included in my prescription medicine.
I have been diagnosed with Diabetis 2, Kidney stage 3 and High Blood pressure.
At present I was not prescribed any medication for my Diabetis or Kidne problem . all my meication seem to be for High Blood only. Can you help give diagnosis or medicine ? The following are my prescription.
Carvedilol 2 - 25 mg 50 mg daily
Diovan 160 mg. "
Norvasc. 10 mg. "
Lipitor 10 mg. "

thanks for your query
though you have been diagnosed with diabetes, you did not mention about your fasting and post prondial glucose levels, hence it becomes difficult to comment if you require medications or diet and lifestyle modification will do the job. carvedilol and diovan protect your kidney by decreasing the albuminuria, also act as antihypertensives, norvasac is an antihypertensive. there is no harm in combining carvedilol and diovan as long as your creatinine and potasium are in normal limits
wish you good health.
