Diagnosed With Double Ear Infections. Prescribed Rocephin Shot, Bactrim Oral. Is This Okay?
hi, my daughter went to the scute care center on friday where she was diagnosed with double ear infections. the right is still having a lot of yellow drainage..she has had lots of ear infections and has had 3 sets of tubes. we have never had one to drain this much. she was given a rocephin shot and bactrim oral and cipro drops..is this okay
it is okay to continue antibiotics it will take time to clear the infectiv aterial collected in the middle ear ue to infection you need to keep local ear hygiene good and prevent water in ears and need to continue antibiotics and drops till the infection is finished and ear is dry
