Diagnosed With Fluid Around Heart And Ventricles Collapsed. Given Antibiotics And Anti Inflammatory. Are There Any Natural Remedies?
My sister who is 48 years old was diagnosed about a month ago with fluid around her heart. It was so bad they said her ventricals were starting to collapse.Unfornately she was in Uganda Africa and had to be sent to Pretoria in South Africa -where they rushed her into surgery and put a drain into her heart. My sister said they thought it was caused by the virus starts with a (C) that is in the same catagory as the hand ,foot , mouth virus. She is now back in the states (PTL) in Virginia. She had to go back into the hospital last week and they said the fluid was back and it was a moderate amount. They have her on am antibiotic and an anti-inflammatory. I was wondering if there was anything natural like (oil of oregano) that might help her as well?
Hello, I have gone through your query. I think you are referring to pericardial effusion. In my opinion, Surgical intervention is indicated rather than medical management and I don't think natural foods will reduce the effusion. Hope this helped you. Thanks.
