Diagnosed With Folliculitus On Face. Prescribed Doxycyline, Itching While Washing Face With Dial Soap. How To Moisturize?
I have been diagnosed with folliculitus on my face that has only affected my cheeks. Red blotchy marks around my follicles. I have been prescribed Doxycycline and they told me to wash my face with dial soap but it was very drying and caused my skin to flake. Have tried Cetaphyl but it seemed to irritate me more. What can I use to wash my face as it tries to heal, and what can I use to moisturize to affected area that won't make me break out or irritate me further? Thanks.

Hi folliculites of face is commonest problemin teenagers.applying any moisteriser can increase the folliculites.u can apply acne moiste cream which is non comedogenic annd use ls dew soap daily which decreases dryness of face.folliculites can be treated with azithromycin 500 mg daily once for three days and application of t bact ointment over the lesion
