Diagnosed With Glandular Fever And Having Severe Pain While Swallowing. Will Smoking Marijuana Have Negative Impact On Tonsils?
I'm a 19 year old male and have been diagnosed with glandular fever, I've had it for about a week and I believe it's at it's peak. I am at the point where it causes sever pain to swallow anything including liquid and my own saliva. I manage to force liquid down in order to keep myself out of hospital but I can hardly eat a thing. My glands are very swollen but the worst part are my to ails which are massive and covered in mucus, besides that my body feels pretty good.
My question is whether smoking marijuana will have a negative impact on my tonsils and the virus in general because I feel that if I was to get high I might be able to finally eat and drink. I smoke weed less than once a month so I wouldn't need much to get me to the point at which I think I would be able to eat.
Hi, Thank you for your query. Smoking marijuana or weed is not only good for tonsils, but for entire body, therefore I suggest you to stop the smoking and inform your doctor about your complaints. Hope I have answered your query. Regards.
