Diagnosed With Tardive Diskinesia After Taking Celexa. Any Possibility Of Getting Parkinsons?
I have been diagnosed with tardive diskinesia from taking celexa. But I understand that the mouth quivering I experienced also is a symptom of parkinsons. I am now off celexa and symptoms have improved. I also had a MRI which was fine, but was also told that the mri would not show parkinsons. My grandfather had parkinsons. Guess I am a little worried. Also need to get back a another anti depressant soon.
HI Thank for asking to HCM I can understand your problem, Tardive dyskinesia is a more or less toxicity of some drugs while Parkinson's is kind of disease, both are different from each other but of course looking to their similarities these need to be differentiate from each other, if you do have history of taking some drugs then this could be a Tardive dyskinesia, hope this information helps you bye.
