Hallow Dear,

You have two dilemmas:

1. Whether you have aborted completely or not: Going through the history you have provided, I feel you have taken the pills - Misoprostol only regimen by a Gynaecologist's advice. This regime is usually very successful in terminating the pregnancy up to 9 weeks (63 days). From your history it is not clear whether you had a bleeding after the pills and you could see the products of conception in the form of white tissues. Now since you are not sure about the completion of the abortion, please get your ultrasonography done which will reveal the condition of the pregnancy. If the uterus is empty, you have aborted completely. If it shows products of conception, you need undergo surgical evacuation of the uterine cavity.

2. Continued nausea and vomiting: As you are suspecting, it may due to continuation of pregnancy. If you have aborted completely, it may be due to increased acidity. In fact, Misoprostol, does take care of acidity in the stomach. You may try Tab. Dramamine for vomiting. There is associated fatigue also. So, it may be due to dehydration and/or starvation. Banana or Melon in cold milk is very good during nausea.

I feel, ultrasonography will clarify your dilemma.

If it is more than a week since you have aborted, please get your pregnancy test done on the urine; if it still is positive, you may not have aborted or there could be a molar pregnancy growing - could be choriocarcinoma. This cancer is easily and completely treated and curable with medicines if diagnosed and treated in time.

So please report to your Gynaecologist ASAP.
