Did Meprate Cause The Menstruation Delay?

I am 32 years old a small cyst is there on my right ovary dr advised me to take meprate10mg thrice a day for three months one month over but i didnt get my periods even 20 days after due date it was regular before now i stopped tablet is it cause any problem can i continue the tablet
