Did A Biopsy And Did A Manual Stitch. Din't Remove It On Time. Now It Is Keloid. It Is Ugly, Itchy, Burns. Recommendations?
Hi Doctor, I am 40 years old, I did a mamography some 21 years ago, the doc in india did a biospy and did manual stitch, he asked me to remove the suture after 7 days, but since i had to travel on an work related matter, got it removed after abt 10 days., it is nnow keliod and i beleive it is supposed to be satellite keliod, plssss suggest a cure and remedy as it looks so ugly and sometimes cause itch and burns if i pespire. thank u

Hi,
Removing stitches 3 days late does not make any difference.
Now keloid is formed not due to late removal of stitches.
Consult plastic surgeon and get examined.
He will decide plan of treatment.
Ok and take care.
