Did We Reinfect Each Other Because Of Sex During Treatment Of Chlamydia?

hi me and my boyfriend were both diagnosed with chlamydia and we were both treated on the same day and we were instructed to not have sex for a week, well we had unprotected sex a day after starting the treatment. did we reinfect eachother or will the medicine continue to treat the chlamydia

Thank you for query.we suggest to avoid sex to prevent ping pong infection i.e transmission of infection from 1 to another and vice versa.Also it can aggravate the existing condition.or worsen it.The medicines do act but they have their half life and minimum inhibitory concentration and may get altered also.
