hello snehalchaudhari1. Thanks for visiting healthcaremagic.com. I am glad that you have had all of the test above because that helped to rule out a lot of diseases. I believe that you are suffering from panic/
anxiety attacks.
Panic attacks are defined as a period of intense fear or discomfort in which 4 or more of these symptoms develop abruptly and reach a peak within 10 minutes (usually).
1. Palpitations, pounding heart, or accelerated
heart rate *
2. Sweating *
3. Trembling or shaking
4. Sensation of
shortness of breath or smothering *
5. Feeling of choking
6.
Chest pain or discomfort
7. Nausea or abdominal issues
8. Feeling dizzy, unsteady, lightheaded or faint
9. Feeling detached from one's self
10. Fear of losing control or going crazy *
11. Fear of dying *
12. Paresthesias (
numbness or
tingling sensations) *
13. Chills or Hot flashes
I put stars by the symptoms that you mentioned above and put stars by the fear related points because you do not clarify what you are having fear of. You have at least 4 out of these symptoms above.
This is a medical condition and is well recognized in the mental/behavioral health community. This condition can be treated with
antidepressant medications and/or anti-anxiety medications. I suggest that you return to your primary physician with this knowledge and perhaps get a referral to a mental health specialist if your doctor feels it is necessary.
Be well, Dr. Kimberly
