Difficulty Focusing, Glare In Side Of Eyes, Headache. Cause?

What causes a vision problem like this. It was happening once every six months but the last two weeks it's happened three times. I see what I'm looking at but seems that I have a hard time focusing. On each side of my eyes I see a glare (something like the heat riding from the hot pavement) it last about 15 or 20 minutes. Then afterwards I get a dull headache. Not unbeatable but it's there. The headace usually last the rest of the day.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi , From your case history I believe you may be suffering from migraine .There is always a visual aura which lasts about 20 minutes. This may consist of bright or dark spots, zig-zags (‘fortification spectra’), ‘heat haze’ distortions, jigsaw puzzle effects, scintillating scotomas, tunnel vision. This is followed by headache which may last for 30min to 1 hr which is one-sided.I believe you should visit an ophthalmologist and a medicine specialist who may do a complete eye examination and rule out migraine......Regards...and TC...Dr Ajay Shankar Kar
