Difficulty In Swallowing And Breathing, Lump And Bleeding, Hernia. Suggestion?
my spouse has a long list of medical problems he has been smoking all of his life. he is 64. he more recently began developing difficulty swallowing and breathing (more so than usual) and told me that he feels as if there is a lump in his throat and that it has began bleeding. he does have a hernia that he wouldnt go get taken care of when it was first discovered.
Hi, As he is chain smoker since long, first thing we should keep in mind is that there might be some space occupying lesion in his throat. Consult ENT surgeon and get Direct Laryngoscopy done. After examination line of treatment can be decided. Ok and take care.
